When it comes to bedroom design, the bedroom is one of the most personal spaces in a house. It’s where we rest and relax after a hard day at work. It’s also a room that many people forget about until it’s time to decorate it. If you don’t do it now, you’ll probably never get the chance again. So I suggest you spend some time planning your bedroom decorating scheme so that you get the best results possible.
Does your bedroom decorating plan include bright, stimulating colors? Then bright colors should dominate your bedroom decorating. You can add as much or as little color in your bedroom design as you like but you should try to keep the scheme fairly simple. Don’t go overboard with wallpaper and paint, because it may distract from the true function of the bedroom: sleeping.
How many activities do you want to perform in your bedroom? For me, it’s all about the sex. So my bedroom design plan revolves around sex. That’s the only reason I’m including this particular feature in my bedroom decorating plan.
What is my bedroom design target color? This can be any color but when I say bedroom design target color I mean the color that you find most appealing. I’ve learned over the years that red is the sexiest color so that’s what I focus on when I color my bedroom. I use red bedroom decor for my husband’s bedroom and for my kids’ bedrooms.
What furniture items are needed in my bedroom? Your bedroom design target color doesn’t have to be perfect but it should be close enough to match your furniture items. Keep in mind that you don’t always need a full matching bedroom set; sometimes one bedroom set will do while you add other furniture pieces to give each room a focal point or style statement.
What is my bedroom decorating plan made of? My bedroom decorating plan made up of mostly solid wood flooring with some area rugs and accents. When I make my bedroom decorating plan this way, I stay within a budget and I get exactly what I want. I find that I can easily change out or add furniture without disturbing or changing my existing bedroom furniture.
What colors are appropriate in my bedroom decorating plan? Your bedroom decorating plan should include lots of color choices. While dark walls look nice, I don’t like them too much because I spend too much time in my bedroom reading. Luckily, I don’t really see any problem with white walls because my friends keep asking me what color I am using.
Is my bedroom space big or small? A bedroom decorating plan should think about the size of your bedroom. It is better to have a bedroom that feels bigger than it really is if you can afford it. A bedroom with a ceiling to floor ratio is good because there isn’t a lot of walking space between beds. If you are having problems deciding on a bedroom decorating plan, you might want to consider a bedroom planner to help you come up with some ideas.
Is my bedroom big or small? This question may be a bit difficult to answer because it depends on the type of bedroom decorating plan you are planning on. If you have a roomy bedroom and then add a second bed, the bedroom decorating plan will be much easier to follow. If you’re planning on a bedroom that’s not that big, you should be able to make it look like you have an extra large bedroom by adding a dresser and more storage space.
How expensive is my bedroom decorating plan? Cost is always an important factor to consider when making changes to your bedroom decor. The bedroom furniture stores probably have a bedroom decorating plan that is perfect for you but that doesn’t mean it’s the cheapest thing you can find. Try to stay with the higher end furniture stores because there are usually more value and better quality in higher end stores.
Where do I put my bedroom decorating plan? A bedroom decorating plan is really more of an overall theme than a set of bedroom decorating ideas. For example, if you’re interested in tropical prints, put that in your general bedroom decor. If you’d like to decorate your kids’ bedrooms with jungle wall art, you could incorporate some of that art into your overall theme in the bedroom. Remember that your bedroom decorating plan is all about flow and cohesiveness, so just don’t let it be too rigid.
I can’t open my bedroom doors yet! You need to think about this, especially if you have a sliding glass door. Sometimes it may be difficult to open your bedroom doors if the glass has been damaged. In this instance, your bedroom decorating plan needs to include ways to open the bedroom doors without damaging them.
